How to Use The Shoe Horn ProGuide®

Full printed instructions are included with every purchase.  They are duplicated here for your convenience.

PLEASE NOTE: The Shoe Horn ProGuide® is not like other single piece shoe horns.

That’s because it’s uniquely designed and manufactured with a special spring mechanism that makes putting on your shoes even easier.

For the best results, please carefully follow the instructions below which show you how to maximise the benefit of this unique mechanism.

Note that instructions for Comfort and Precision models are slightly different.  Therefore, please be sure to check which model you have first:

SHOE HORN PROGUIDE® COMFORT - INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1 - Extend Shoe Horn To Required Length

The Shoe Horn ProGuide® Comfort extends from 16 inches (approx. 40cm) to a maximum of 31 inches (approx. 78cm).

For your ease and comfort, you can choose any length between these 2 lengths.  The built-in tension will hold the shoe horn at your chosen extension.

STEP 2 - Vertically Place Horn Into Rear Of Heel

Unlike other more rigid shoe horns, it’s important you place the paddle of the Shoe Horn ProGuide® Comfort vertically into the rear of your shoe, ensuring it touches the heel, as shown.

This way, any sideways spring movement is minimised.

STEP 3 - Gently Insert Foot Into Shoe

Now, insert your foot, toes first, into your shoe allowing your heel to “feel” the paddle.

Gently lift the shoe horn as your heel slides down the paddle, in turn removing the shoe horn from your shoe.

You’ll see how the spring “takes the strain” and naturally bends to accommodate your foot as you do so.

SHOE HORN PROGUIDE® PRECISION - INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1 - Extend Shoe Horn To Required Length

The Shoe Horn ProGuide® Precision extends from 16 inches (approx. 40cm) to a maximum of 31 inches (approx. 78cm).

It incorporates a unique "twist & lock" mechanism which fixes it at its longest length.

To extend, simply pull both ends apart simultaneously. Then twist each stem section so the small ball-bearings click into place.

To collapse, hold each smaller stem section whilst twisting the larger one next to it. Then, push both ends together. There is no need to ever touch or press the ball-bearings themselves.
